SPARTAN SPOTLIGHT

CITIZEN OF THE MONTH - NOVEMBER

Jachele Stubblefield – Mrs. Kidder 1st Grade

I have a classroom full of awesome kids this year.  I could choose 20+ kids that show fabulous character.  There is one child that stands out in my mind as the kind of child anyone would be proud to call their own.  It is my pleasure to nominate Jachele Stubblefield as Springport Elementary School Citizen of the month for November.  Jachele exhibits all of the character traits that we strive for.  She is kind, responsible, and is a leader in the classroom.  Jachele is always giving hugs and always has a smile on her face.  Jachele tries her best every day, she listens, and follows all the rules.  She is a perfect example of a good citizen and a fantastic Springport Spartan!

Rylee Siefert – 5th Grade Mrs. Kregel

November’s Citizen of the Month is Rylee Siefert.  She is a very responsible student.  Rylee completes her work on time, asks for help when needed and pays attention in class.  I can count on Rylee to follow directions and be helpful to others if needed.  Rylee is a student others feel comfortable asking for help.  She is very patient explaining a concept and not at all bossy about it.  This is a quality which is especially helpful in an elementary classroom.  Also, Rylee is a great friend always ready with that bright smile to cheer a friend.  I have been lucky to have Rylee in my 4th and 5th grade classes.  She is a very special young lady.

HELP US HELP OUR SCHOOL

Did you know there's an easy way to help us raise money for our school - for books, band uniforms, reading programs and anything else that can use extra funding?

Meijer and Kroger have programs in place so when you shop we earn $!

Meijer's is called Meijer Community Rewards. Enrolled members shop Meijer, simply paying with cash, PIN-based debit card or linked Meijer Credit Card. Purchases made with a linked Mejier Credit Card earn 1%. Purchases made with cash or PIN-based debit card and a swiped Meijer Card earn 0.5% Springport Elementary School Meijer community rewards #658881.

Kroger Community Rewards (KCR) makes supporting community organizations as simple as shop, scan, and earn! Once you've registered, a % of each of your shopping trips will be contributed to the organization you've selected every time your card is scanned. Registering is as simple as updating the Community Rewards field on your My Account page with the information of the organization you wish to support.

ALSO - The Elementary has a box in the office for Labels for Education. Collect Campbell's soup labels and box tops from participating products like Glad, General Mills, Pepperidge Farms, certain beverages, stationery and magazines. Clip/Give/Earn!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT FOR OUR “KIDS” AND SCHOOL!
